The RF Distribution Box is used to connect the Main Control Box to other peripheral boxes using RF instead of the network cables.

This is a big advantage on larger boats where putting in the network cables can be quite difficult. It is particularly useful for intruder boxes which may be in lounge or bedroom areas, where running in the network cables may be unsightly. In this case the intruder boxes can be powered from a normal 5v phone charger using a micro USB connector.
